Tobias Nanda

Head of Brands

Tobias Nanda is Head of Brands at Gordon Brothers. Tobias leads the firm’s global brand investment strategy through acquisition and lending, and oversees a team specializing in brand operations and advisory services that drive growth and build value for consumer brands across the globe.

Tobias has over 20 years’ experience in the investment sector, managing investments and partnering with management teams to develop and execute growth strategies. His focus has ranged from turnaround to growth capital, as well as both debt and equity.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Tobias was a co-founder and partner of Trimountain Partners investing in middle-market consumer companies in the U.S. and the U.K. He was previously a managing director at Palladin Consumer Retail Partners where he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s activities, including capital deployment, portfolio management and business development in the U.S. and Europe.

Tobias has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. He serves on the boards of directors for Telefunken, Nicole Miller, Broyhill and RED Driving School. Prior board memberships and executive roles have included Laura Ashley, Universal Lacrosse, Arnotts, InMotion Entertainment, KT Tape and Harrys of London. Tobias is based in Boston.
