Robert Himmel is Senior Managing Director at Gordon Brothers.

Robert has over 35 years of experience in the consumer products and manufacturing sectors.

Robert was a founding principal and Head of the Commercial & Industrial business at Gordon Brothers where he was responsible for investment and trading in North America. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Robert was division president at Malden Mills Inc. where he previously served as vice president and general manager of the company’s North American business. Before that, he was the corporate vice president of product development and marketing at Guilford Mills, now part of Lear Corporation.

Robert is a board member of Hope & Comfort Inc., a former member of Turnaround Management Association’s board of trustees and Jewish Vocational Services Inc.’s board of directors, and a former vice president of the Knitted Textile Association’s board of directors.

He has a Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook University. Robert is based in Boston.
