Phil Taylor is Director, Diligence Services at Gordon Brothers. Phil co-leads the specialty finance vertical within Diligence Services in North America, providing project planning, resources and management for the firm’s clients. Additionally, he trains field examiners and performs and oversees client engagements, including lending structure, collateral evaluation and reporting requirements.

He has over 40 years of due diligence experience in accounting, banking, asset-based lending and internal audit across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, apparel, lender finance, food distribution and consumer product distribution.

Phil was previously a director of lender services at Durkin Group, a leading professional services firm that provided credit risk support for the secured finance industry acquired by Gordon Brothers. Prior to Durkin Group, he was a field exam manager at Heritage Financial.

Phil has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Phil is based in Pennsylvania.
