Patrick Millar is Director, Global Valuations at Gordon Brothers. Patrick is responsible for business valuations and intangible asset appraisals and supports asset-based lenders and equity investors with collateral needs, estate, gift and property tax planning, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.

He has over 35 years’ experience in business enterprise and equity valuations, intangible asset appraisals, economic analyses and expert testimony for businesses, government agencies and attorneys in private practice. His industry experience includes aerospace, automobile, beverage, consumer products, energy, fertilizer, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and retail.

Patrick was a senior manager of business valuations at AccuVal-LiquiTec prior to Gordon Brothers’ acquisition of the firm. Previously, he was a senior vice president at Arthur Consulting Group responsible for preparing business enterprise, equity and intangible asset valuations for corporate tax and financial reporting purposes. Additionally, he has served as an expert witness, testifying before the California Superior Court and Oregon Tax Count.

Patrick has a Master of Business Administration in finance and undergraduate degrees in accounting, finance, and risk and insurance from the University of Wisconsin. He is a senior member of the American Society of Appraisers. Patrick is based in California.
