Michael Sheridan is Managing Director, Direct Originations on the Commercial Equipment Finance team at Gordon Brothers. Mike is responsible for leading and managing the origination of new business opportunities for equipment leasing and financing in North America. He oversees the entire origination process, from prospecting and client acquisition to structuring solutions.

He has more than 20 years of experience in finance, with extensive experience in equipment finance and a proven track record of building strong client relationships, originating and structuring complex transactions.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Mike was a senior vice president of originations at 36th Street Capital where he led commercial deal originations and deal execution on lease and loan products, actively marketing equipment financing to large companies and building relationships with lenders. Mike was previously a senior vice president of equipment finance sales at SLR Equipment Finance, and prior to that, he was an equipment finance relationship manager at PNC Equipment Finance.

Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Iowa, and a Masters of Business Administration in Financial Analysis from DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business. For the past six years, he has been a board member for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation. Mike is based in Chicago.
