Jim Lightburn is Global Head of Consumer & Industrial at Gordon Brothers spearheading the firm’s global consumer and industrial growth strategy. Jim leads the Consumer and Industrial businesses in North America while partnering with global leaders on a coordinated consumer and industrial platform strategy.

He has over 20 years of experience in the consumer, industrial and retail distressed investing, liquidation and restructuring industries with expertise in wholesale inventory, machinery and equipment, intellectual property and accounts receivable.

Jim co-founded Nations Capital Inc. (NCI), an industry-leading commercial and industrial business with a focus on and expertise in finance, restructuring and insolvency. Nations Capital was acquired by Gordon Brothers in 2023 to expand the firm’s capabilities in North America to provide unparalleled value and expertise to the industry. Prior to Nations Capital, he was previously a Senior Managing Director at Gordon Brothers where he oversaw the firm’s consumer and industrial transactions, finance and operations.
