David Duggins

David has over 25 years’ experience in the Restructuring market, involved in complex, cross-border problem-solving. He has held both formal insolvency and advisory roles during this time.

David began his career as an ACA qualified accountant at Stanley & Co in Birmingham before moving to Thornton Baker as an Audit Senior. It was later at Arthur Andersen when David moved from Audit Manager into Restructuring, where he quickly became a Partner. Working between Birmingham and London he operated a wide variety of advisory and investigative roles for banks, private equity houses and corporates, across a range of sectors, and acted as receiver/administrator of numerous groups of companies. In 2002 David became a Restructuring Partner at Ernst & Young, where he advised bank syndicates on major complex refinancings and restructurings.

In 2011 he became an Independent Restructuring Advisor and has held several Board positions and leading advisory roles, developing and executing recovery and exit strategies.

David is a fellow of ICAEW and holds an Insolvency Licence.
