Chris Shaheen is Senior Director, Equipment Management at Gordon Brothers. Chris structures and underwrites equipment risk on new transactions for the Commercial and Structured Equipment Finance teams and monitors the existing lease portfolio, including early buyouts, end-of-lease negotiations, equipment returns and inventory remarketing.

He has over 20 years of experience in accounting and commercial finance with expertise in asset management, equipment remarketing and financial analysis.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Chris was the director of asset of management at Pathward and held previous roles within the banking and financial services company’s asset management division. He was previously a remarketing manager at TIP Capital, a Crestmark Bank Company, and before that was an auditor at Plante Moran.

Chris has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Western Michigan University. He is a Certified Public Accountant registered in Michigan and an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers. Chris is based in Detroit.
