Senior Managing Director, Head of Brand Operations

Carolyn D’Angelo is Senior Managing Director, Head of Brand Operations at Gordon Brothers. Carolyn drives global operations under an asset-light model for the firm’s portfolio of brands. She focuses on new development, securing and managing licensees and retail partners, marketing and product design.

Additionally, Carolyn oversees the global, eponymous fashion and lifestyle brand Nicole Miller.

She has 30 years’ experience in strategic marketing, licensing, branding and merchandising in the home and fashion industries, implementing innovative strategies for national consumer brands.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Carolyn was president of the home division at Marquee Brands responsible for the Martha Stewart and Emeril Lagasse brands. She previously served as executive vice president of brand management at Iconix Brand Group, where she created and led a new home division, reviving and repositioning classic home brands to drive revenue. She has also worked with home brands at Ralph Lauren and Disney in senior leadership brand management and marketing roles.

Carolyn has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Pace University and is an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is based in New York, New York.
