Ben Huggins is Director, Diligence Services at Gordon Brothers. Ben co-leads the specialty finance vertical within Diligence Services in North America, interfacing with the firm’s clients to service their needs. Additionally, he trains field examiners and oversees client engagements, including lending structure and reporting requirements.

Ben has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry with expertise in audit management and has led multi-team engagements in due diligence examinations, quality-of-earnings reviews, bankruptcy restructurings, treasury management reviews, collateral monitoring engagements, and multi-national fraud among other investigations.

Ben was previously a director of lender services at Durkin Group, a leading professional services firm that provided credit risk support for the secured finance industry acquired by Gordon Brothers. Prior to Durkin Group, he worked in public accounting for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ben has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina. He is based in South Carolina.
