Josh Nanberg is Senior Director, Real Estate Services at Gordon Brothers. Josh plays a critical role in advancing the firm’s real estate services and advisory platform that supports retailers and brands with strategic insight, executional excellence and comprehensive portfolio solutions.

Additionally, he leads the firm’s multi-year exclusive engagement with Variety Wholesalers to support the recently acquired Big Lots brand and Roses store portfolio through portfolio optimization and new store development.

Josh has over 30 years of experience in retail real estate strategy and execution with expertise in deal and lease negotiation, asset management and market research.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Josh was the vice president of real estate at Variety Wholesalers. Before that, he was most recently the vice president of real estate at Big Lots and had previously held various roles of increasing responsibility during his tenure at the off-price retailer.

Josh has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University. He is based in Columbus, Ohio.
