Mark Dufton

Mark Dufton serves as an advisor to Gordon Brothers. Mark is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of real estate experience. Prior to his current advisory role, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Real Estate for Gordon Brothers for over eight years and oversaw significant growth in the team’s business generation and market prominence. Beyond Gordon Brothers, Mark is a Managing Partner for Dinosaur Capital Partners, a Boston-based real estate investment and development company. Prior to founding Dinosaur Capital Partners, he was Principal & Senior Managing Director and managed more than 35 clients, focusing primarily on bankruptcy services, lease mitigation and restructuring programs. He has successfully mitigated or restructured over 1,500 leases, saving clients more than $100 million. Earlier in his career, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer for Jeepers! and Senior Manager of Real Estate Acquisitions, Dispositions and Leasing at Bank of America (formerly BankBoston). Mark served five years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he attained the rank of Captain, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and Turnaround Management Association.
