Bob Grosskopf is jointly responsible for the growth strategy while overseeing all retail client engagements and daily operations. He is also responsible for the overall retail strategic vision and business development initiatives. Prior to becoming Co-President in 2013, Bob held the position of Senior Managing Director where he managed inventory dispositions and maximized recovery values for retailers' underperforming assets. Since joining Gordon Brothers in 1996, Bob has played a significant role in structuring transactions for many of the firm’s retail clients such as CompUSA, Pier 1 Imports and The Home Depot. Bob has assisted retail clients with developing and implementing custom strategies surrounding store closings, relocations, excess inventory solutions and mergers and acquisitions while protecting the client’s brand, customers and distribution channels. Bob is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
