Mitchell Cohen is involved in developing and maintaining relationships in the professional community, and assisting in developing opportunities across all of Gordon Brother’s business sectors. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers in 1990, Mitchell was a partner at Gadsby Hannah LLP. He was a member of the board of directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute from 1998 to 2006. In March of 2004, Mitch was inducted into the Fifteenth Class of College Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy. He was Chairman of the Board of the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Association from 2004 to 2006, and currently is Co-Chair of the Brandeis University Alumni Real Estate Network in New York City, and is a Trustee of the Camp Avoda Foundation (Middleboro, Massachusetts). He is a graduate of Brandeis University, earned his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and has an MBA from the University of California, Haas Business School.
