Managing Director, Corporate Development and Credit
Evren Ozargun is Managing Director of Corporate Development and Credit at Gordon Brothers. He is a trusted adviser to senior leadership helping to set and execute the strategic agenda for the firm, identifying and supporting new initiatives, pursuing and integrating new alliances, and structuring complex transactions. Working directly with the deal teams he also plays an important role in underwriting and monitoring high-impact investments involving both debt and equity transactions. Evren has 20 years of experience in the middle-market asset-based and cash flow lending, appraisal, and disposition industries. He has a broad scope of experience ranging from turnarounds, restructurings, and DIP financings to large M&A transactions, corporate carve-outs and providing growth capital. Evren held several titles at Crystal Financial, a Boston-based commercial finance company, most recently as Senior Managing Director. Prior to this, he was Director of Audit & Appraisal at Wells Fargo Retail Finance. Evren started his career at The Ozer Group before Gordon Brothers acquired the appraisal firm in 2005. Evren holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson College. As well as being an outdoor enthusiast, an avid skier, biker, rock climber and hiker, he supports various philanthropic organizations focused on social justice, the environment, and wildlife.
