Michael Chartock is Senior Advisor at Gordon Brothers. Prior to his current advisory role, Michael most recently sourced, analyzed and structured complex engagements within the Retail practice and nurtured relationships with key clients and partners. He previously held a variety of legal roles, including General Counsel, head of litigation funding and transactional attorney. Additionally, Michael was a member of the firm’s executive, operations and investment committees.
He has over 30 years’ experience practicing business law and his areas of expertise include retail liquidations and corporate operations.
Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Michael was a corporate and retail attorney at Harcourt General, the former parent company of the Neiman Marcus Group. Previously, he was a corporate finance attorney at a major law firm.
He has a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor from Cornell University.
