Chief Operating Officer
Larry Sax is the Chief Operating Officer of Gordon Brothers, responsible for leading the firm’s finance, accounting, treasury, financial planning, corporate development, and information technology functions. He brings over 30 years of operating, finance and turnaround & restructuring experience, primarily in the retail space. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Larry was at Alvarez & Marsal. During his 12 years with the firm, his responsibilities included interim management appointments (CFO, COO, CRO), recapitalizations, divestitures, bankruptcies, liquidations, business planning and cash management. Larry previously held positions as a turnaround & restructuring professional at both NHB Advisors and PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as Manager of Finance at Fidelity Investments. He also founded, owned and operated Cap Factory, a specialty retail chain with locations across the U.S. Larry holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, both from Lehigh University. He is also a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).
