Gordon Brothers Group Names John Kelliher Chief Financial Officer
Boston, MA – March 12, 2012 – Gordon Brothers Group, a global advisory, restructuring and investment firm specializing in the retail, consumer products, industrial and real estate sectors, announced today that John M. Kelliher has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Former-CFO Robert Paglia was named Chief Operating Officer last summer. Mr. Kelliher will work closely with all of Gordon Brothers Group’s business units on strategic, financial and operational initiatives.
Mr. Kelliher brings to Gordon Brothers Group an exceptional record and extensive experience in financial management within the manufacturing, retail, consumer products and commercial & industrial businesses. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Kelliher was the Chief Financial Officer for Twin Rivers Technologies Holdings, Inc., a $600 million, privately-held manufacturer of oleo-chemical products and refined vegetable oils servicing the consumer products industry, industrial applications, and energy businesses. In this role, he was responsible for business planning, accounting, taxes, IT and bank relations. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The Holmes Group, Inc. where he managed all financial functions for the $700M manufacturer and wholesaler of branded consumer appliances. Mr. Kelliher has also held the title of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for The Stride Rite Corporation, where he was responsible for all financial functions of this NYSE-listed manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of branded footwear with sales of $550M.

Mr. Kelliher holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and is a CPA in the state of Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s and the Financial Executives International. During his business career, he has been active in a number of community endeavors including United Way and the Two Ten Footwear Foundation.
