GB Merchants Partners Sells Andrew Marc

BOSTON, MA – March 24, 2008 – GB Merchant Partners, the investment management affiliate of Gordon Brothers Group, today announced the sale of Andrew Marc to G-III Apparel Group, Ltd.

Andrew Marc is a well recognized, upscale brand that has been the primary and trusted source of leather outerwear to premier U.S. department stores for over 20 years. In 2004, GB Merchants Partners invested in the company and assisted in its transition from an outerwear business to a broader branded business that currently includes handbags and other accessories. For 2007, the Andrew Marc business recorded approximately $80 million of net sales under the Andrew Marc, Marc New York, and licensed Dockers and Levis brands.
