Pan Mass Challenge 2019

Pan Mass Challenge 2019

Commitment to Community

Gordon Brothers is proud to announce that our employees Eileen Adler, Michael Frieze, Bob Grosskopf, Jake Jaeger, Nick Jaeger, Tiffany Arredondo, and Connor Maher participated in the 40th Pan Mass Challenge, the largest athletic fundraising event in the world, on August 3rd and 4th.

The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is a 192 mile, two-day cycling event that stretches from Sturbridge in central Massachusetts to Provincetown on the tip of Cape Cod. The PMC raised over $47 million this year and over $700 million since 1980 with every dollar donated directly to Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Of the 6,300 participants, almost 75% of PMC riders are alumni who return annually for the weekend bike-a-thon.

This year marked the first year that Team Gordon Brothers rode the PMC event together. Our team is filled with seasoned veterans, including Michael Frieze, who has been riding since 1982, Eileen Adler, since 2007, and Jake Jaeger, a five-year veteran. Our 2019 team also featured first time riders that included Bob Grosskopf, Tiffany Arredondo, and Nick Jaeger. Team members’ rides varied from 50 miles to the full 192 mile race, and Team Gordon Brothers raised over $135,000 this year.

Congratulations to everyone who participated and donated to the PMC!
