Mitchell Cohen is responsible for the structuring of transactions, managing compliance issues and counseling clients with regard to the development and implementation of all transactions. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers in 1990, Mitchell was a partner at Gadsby Hannah LLP. He was a member of the board of directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute from 1998 to 2006. In March of 2004, Mitch was inducted into the Fifteenth Class of College Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy. He was Chairman of the Board of the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Association from 2004 to 2006, and currently sits on the board of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, NE Chapter. He is a graduate of Brandeis University, earned his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and has an MBA from the University of California, Haas Business School.
