Mike Hamann has more than 12 years of experience in the valuation and consulting industry and has managed more than 200 machinery and equipment engagements totaling more than $2 billion in appraised values. In addition, Mike performs reviews of junior staff members and assists in marketing efforts in the Midwest. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Mike was a senior manager in AccuVal-LiquiTec’s Machinery & Equipment Valuation practice, which was acquired by Gordon Brothers in 2015. During his career, he has also worked as a Territory Sales Manager for a large governmental consulting firm and worked with cities, counties, school districts and water and sewerage authorities in the historical valuation of fixed assets for governmental compliance. During his career, Mike has worked across a broad range of industries including, but not limited to, metal fabrication, CNC machine tools, metal stamping, concrete and aggregate, food, beverage/beer, plastics, chemical, logistics, construction, and solar/wind energy. In addition to his appraisal assignments, Mike has authored articles on craft beer, solar energy, medical devices, cellular phones and plastics injection molding. Mike is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers, having earned the designation in 2006, and has also completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) coursework. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.
