Christopher Koenig is responsible for business development, deal analysis and structuring, financial management, and ongoing commercial and industrial deal operations. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the capital markets providing operational and financial restructuring and advisory services to clients across a number of industries. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Chris was a Vice President with G2 Capital Advisors, where he specialized in providing sell-side, buy-side, operational and financial restructuring, and capital-raising advisory services. Prior to G2, Chris was a Vice President with TD Bank, where he was responsible for managing the relationships with a portfolio of accounts in the asset-based lending group. Prior to TD Bank, Chris was a Vice President in the middle markets origination group at NewStar Financial. He acted as the lead underwriter for senior cash flow and asset based loans to support financial sponsor activity in the middle market. Chris began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, completing the analyst program in Global Leveraged Finance group and then serving as a Vice President in the Global Structured Finance and Investments group, where he structured and executed numerous transactions in the financial services space. Chris graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. Chris lives in Weston, Massachusetts where he enjoys skiing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
